KidloLand Educational App for Kids Age 0-5 Review + Giveaway!

Disclosure – I have been compensated and/or received this product/service for free. Regardless, all reviews and opinions are honest and my own.

Remember how I said that I let my kids use as much technology as they want? Well Capri recently found out about YouTube Kids and has been obsessing over watching “Princess” things (basically I search the word princess and she watches whatever comes up). Some things are fine for her to watch, as they teach her different things, but I am just over the whole Play-Doh building videos and watching other people play with dolls. There is no educational value to that. So when I was asked to check out the KidloLand App, I jumped on this opportunity because it was the perfect time to get Capri to switch from annoying YTK to a fun and educational app.

The KidloLand App installed very quickly on Capri’s iPad and she was off to the races on deciding what to check out first. The options of what to do are seemingly endless. There are more than 245 nursery rhymes and educational songs plus over 100 educational activities. And another great feature is that this app is advertisement free! NO ADS! That is unheard of anymore.

Capri loved the activities section, especially the matching and dot-to-dot games. We both enjoyed the music which brought back memories of nursery rhymes that I had forgot of and some I had never heard of before. The mom in me loved the educational aspects which included learning her ABCs, fruits, months, and so much more through songs and activities. This app made it FUN to learn. In fact, I don’t even think Capri realized she was learning but instead just thought she was playing. It makes a huge difference because trust me, she leaves the “learning” at pre-school. It is all fun and games at home…wink wink!

This app is recommended for ages 0-5. Cam really has no interest in the iPad yet but did seem to enjoy the music. Capri started to enjoy the iPad a bit more around 18 months so I would say give it a try if you have a child between 18 months and 5 years old.

And I know it may seem absurd to spend money on an app for your child to “play” with, but this app is well worth the cost. However, I have GREAT news! I am offering 3 of my readers a FREE 6 month subscription of the KidloLand App for your kid(s)! How cool is that? So thanks to KidloLand for offering this up. Just enter the giveaway in the form below. Winner will be announced 5/3/16. Good Luck!

  14. Sounds like something my little one would like. It's true that there are a lot of free apps out there, but their games often get interrupted with ads or in-app purchases.

  18. I am thankful for anything that is more educational. My granddaughter also loves to watch the videos of others just building things or playing a video game. I'm not a big fan. Thank you for the information.
